What is CBD?

CBD is one molecule of the cannabis plant, but not only that.

Cannabis is a well-known sacred herb that has been used for thousands of years to promote health and treat a variety of ailments. There are hundreds of varieties of cannabis grown for different purposes: rope cannabis, seed cannabis, and specific varieties of medicinal cannabis.

The benefits of CBD

CBD has an extensive impact on our physical functions since it interacts with the cannabinoid receptor system found in our body. Endocannabinoid system.

Cannabis is creating new natural therapies that open up completely new paths for people to take care of their physical and mental health.

Current research has offered us a lot of new information about the benefits and safety of CBD. All claims by Zen Native are based on renowned research.

The benefits of CBD can be divided into two:

  1. Immediate and short-term benefits

      1. Quick relief for anxiety, cramps, redness, muscle soreness, and mild sleeping disorders in under an hour.
  2. Long-term benefits
      1. Relief for inflammation, tumors, depression, addictions, neurological pain and severe sleeping disorders with a longer course of CBD treatment. Improvements will usually be seen with a 2-week long usage and changes in cellular level can be expected in 2 months. If necessary, such courses with occasional pauses are repeated until complete recuperation of health.

Although cannabis has been banned for some time due to the content of the intoxicating molecule THC, scientists have been able to break it down into molecules and justify the use of its components separately.

We have found more than 100 different active molecules in cannabis, of which CBD is one of the most important.

Immediate and short-term benefits

CBD is a powerful natural additive that quickly helps relieve the symptoms of a variety of ailments, both with people and animals.

Symptoms

Ailments caused by stress, living environment, nutrition and negative emotional experience are common and often resolve naturally, but brushing them aside might lead to more serious problems. Most common are anxiety, sleeping disorders, muscle tension, digestive disorders, sexual deficiency, heart and blood pressure problems, constant irritability, emotional eating and different types of aches.

Benefits

The goal is to resolve the root of the problem. With cannabinoids, we can give our body the necessary natural input, which calms, alleviates muscle tension, creates comfort, brings good sleep and offers an alternative to heal in a natural way. This short-term relief might be enough to come out of a mental or physical condition that doesn’t allow you to live a full life.
Of course, when the factors causing health problems aren’t resolved, then neither symptomatical or cosmetic relief won’t be much help. On the other hand, CBD helps to create an adequate condition that is favorable to changes, where solutions might be significantly easier to notice and put into practice.

Decisions made in a state of anxiety and tension don’t tend to be smart and beneficial. All solutions will be more clear and easier to achieve in the morning, after a good night’s sleep.

CBD as a beneficial alternative

CBD substitutes the seemingly relieving effect of consuming alcohol or drugs. Alcohol, commonly used for relieving tension and stress, is a depressant, which reduces the quality of sleep and destroys the organism. CBD on the other hand acts as a natural antidepressant and anxiolytic (anti-anxiety), and doesn’t have any damaging properties to the body. Unlike alcohol, cannabis with high levels of narcotic THC isn’t really physically harmful, it is still clear that a person in a constant doped state, will not resolve its problems adequately. Even though CBD Full Spectrum Oil contains a tiny amount of THC, it is therapeutically necessary and still a 100 times less than in narcotic cannabis.

Long-term benefits

Preventive maintenance Using cannabinoids and CBD is not only for already occurring ailments. Healthy and ambitious people often take preventative action for health problems, such as various physical and mental activities, proper nutrition, intimacy, motivating challenges and so on. A person might not realize that they have anxiety or tension prior to taking CBD oil. Analysis might show normal levels of inflammation throughout the body, but underneath that might be hiding long-term inflammation. Such inflammation creates a cancerogenic environment and predisposes all stages of tumorigenesis. It is necessary to do a preventative treatment course with CBD once a year to alleviate deep tensions and hidden inflammation. Serious illnesses CBD has proven to bring relief for epilepsy, Parkinson’s disease and cancer symptoms, but that’s not all. Current research has shown that using CBD for longer periods can even cure these diseases. For example, the newest human trials are already proving the effect of CBD in the treatment of aggressive brain tumors and lung cancer. CBD medication Epidiolex is the only working treatment for some types of childhood epilepsy. Zen Native kindly asks our clients to always consult their physician or doctor and advises not to give themselves any diagnosis. In Estonia, doctors continue to be more and more informed about the existence and effect of CBD, and are able to give you advice on CBD interactions with other medications. Research conducted by American doctors found that nearly 70% of patients should avoid pharmaceutical drugs when using CBD. It has been found that CBD may affect the action of some drugs, for example in hormone therapy. Various drug interactions are in research. Consuming and storing CBD oil

The use of quality CBD oil is safe both internally and externally.

Find yourself a suitable dosage starting with these general suggestions:

  • 1 drop of the 30% oil per 20kg
  • 1 drop of the 15% oil per 10kg
  • 1 drop of the 5% oil per 3kg

Drip onto a spoon or directly under the tongue, hold for a minute and swallow.

Exceeding the amount

The suggested dosages are 10 times less the maximum limit. When the effect is non-existent or low, you can repeat the amount. In trials, where the maximum allowed amount was exceeded, people felt uncomfortable drowsiness, stomach problems or nausea.

Allergies and negative reactions

In some cases,  due to the body meeting a new strong herb, an irritating reaction might appear. Therefore in the first few times, it is recommended to take a smaller dosage and steadily increase it. The irritation may or may not be a gentle passing reaction. In case the discomfort lasts, contact Zen Native and stop using the oil in the meantime.

CBD oil is used externally by massaging or gently dabbing 1-3 drops onto a palm-sized clean skin spot. Avoid contact with eyes. In some cases using CBD oil or cosmetics can afterward cause some stinging or redness on the skin. If irritation persists, wash with clean water and contact Zen Native. In the meantime, stop using the product. Avoid sunlight and tanning salons without using SPF 50+ UV protection.

Storing

Avoid skin contact with the dropper. Bacteria could reach inside the bottle and the shelf life of the product will shorten.

Keep CBD oil and cosmetics away from sunlight and at room temperature. Even though hemp in its resilience will survive minus degrees, you should still avoid high temperatures from 40 degrees and up.

Operating motor vehicles and machinery

Consuming CBD will not affect negatively the operating of motor vehicles and machinery . Rather it calms, reduces speeding and boosts focus due to lowered anxiety. In general, it is wise to avoid driving motor vehicles and operating machinery whenever you feel agitated, disoriented, too distracted or drowsy.

Drug testing

Full Spectrum CBD oil and other CBD products will not reveal in THC testing when consumed within the optimal dosage.

What is Hemp Oil?

First of all, it is important to note that there is a lot of confusion about the names of products. So let’s clear out the confusion. The word ‘hemp oil’ may also refer to hemp seed oil.

Hemp seed oil and CBD oil are very different products.

Cannabis seeds do not contain CBD , but are nonetheless valuable for their unique balance of essential fatty acids.

Zen Native does not use hemp seed oil in our CBD oils , because coconut MCT oil increases the bioavailability of CBD, making it much more effective in transporting CBD and other valuable cannabinoids into cells.

What is Full Spectrum CBD Oil?

Full Spectrum is an extract that, in addition to CBD, contains beneficial particles from the entire plant, including a small amount of THC.

Together, these particles create an effect that extends the effect of CBD. The highest quality extracts are diluted to the right strength, always in refined coconut MCT oil, and have a pleasant cannabis smell.

What is MCT oil?

The fewer carbon compounds in the oil molecule, the better it is absorbed and processed by the body.  All natural oils are made up of molecules with carbon compounds. Most of them are C16-C18 in size, but MCTs are much smaller and almost half in size – C6-C12.By choosing MCT oil, we can ensure that the body absorbs the maximum amount of valuable cannabinoids.

Zen Native CBD Crystal Serum has taken CBD oil to the next level – we’ve included only pure coconut C8! Zen Native lab produces the most refined CBD oil in the world!

Why coconut?

MCTs are present in small amounts also in rapeseed and oil palm seeds, but coconut includes up to 60% of MCTs naturally.

Zen Native products are palm oil-free; we only use coconut MCT oil.

What are cannabinoids?

Cannabinoids are groups of molecules that interact with the cannabinoid system.
Endocannabinoid system.

Cannabinoids are divided into two:

  1. Found in plantsPhytocannabinoids (CBD, THC etc.)
  2. Found in animals including people – Endocannabinoids (Anandamide, 2-AG)

Where can they be found?

In addition to the cannabis plant, Phytocannabinoids have been found in the coneflower plant (Echinacea) and to a lesser extent in cocoa.

Endocannabinoids are found in almost all animals: humans, domestic animals, and even the earliest animal species of evolution, such as sponges. In contrast, insects do not have cannabinoid receptors.

What is the cannabinoid system. Endocannabinoid system.

Although the full extent of the endo-cannabinoid system has not yet been discovered, its role in controlling and modulating physiological and pathological processes is certain.

The cannabinoid system is known to be an important mechanism controlling physiological balance or homeostasis.

Studies show that low levels of cannabinoids are clearly associated with inflammation, depression and anxiety. They are often chronic in nature because of this deficit. The endo-cannabinoid system affects areas of the brain that control appetite, memory, sleep, relaxation and immune system.

The cannabinoid system can be divided into three parts:

  1. Endocannabinoids – anandamide and 2-AG. Binding molecules in our body that activate cannabinoid receptors.
  2. Metabolic enzymes – FAAH and MAGL. FAAH and MAGL are necessary intermediates for the hydrolysis or degradation of cannabinoids. They are found in fresh fruits, berries, vegetable and animal fatty acids.
  3. Cannabinoid receptors – CB1 and CB2. Receptors on the cell surface of the nervous and immune system. Cannabinoid receptors transmit information about what is happening in the body to the inside of the cell. This information triggers the right cellular response.

The history of CBD

There is a lot of speculation about why such a useful sacred plant as cannabis was banned in the 1930s. We are grateful to the person who was able to start top-level research moving upstream. We can also be thankful to the State of Israel, which still supports free research.

The year was 1964 when Bulgarian-born chemist Raphael Mechoulam discovered CBD.

A professor at the University of Jerusalem, Dr. Mechoulam, has laid the foundation for research advancing CBD use to this day. His discoveries, which began with the study of the cannabis plant, have provided a broad understanding of how different cannabis molecules affect the nervous system. He has dedicated his scientific life to cannabis, CBD, and its effects on humans and animals. He has published more than 450 scientific articles and has won a dozen international awards.

1964

Dr. Mechoulam discovered both CBD and THC and later several other cannabinoids (CBG, CBN, CBV, etc.).

1992

Dr. Mechoulam and his students made a subsequent great discovery. They discovered that in addition to plants, cannabinoids are also produced by our bodies , in our nervous system there are receptors that interact with cannabinoids, and are part of a hugely influential endocannabinoid system.
.

2018

The British and US drug agencies released the first CBD-based drug, Epidiolex, which provided the scientific and legal basis for a worldwide CBD boom. In the same year, the World Anti-Doping Agency added CBD to its list of permitted substances.

2020

At the beginning of the year, Zen Native was founded in Estonia. At the end of the year, The French Medicines Agency sought to ban CBD, but the European Court of Justice dismissed the case at the highest instance. The decision in the historic trial that created the case law necessary for the success of the future success of CBD echoed the sentence: “CBD has been proven completely safe and helpful, so its distribution should not be prohibited.”

2022

CBD is a widespread safe, natural alternative throughout the European Union and the world.
